Have Laser Hair Removal Treatment and Say Goodbye to Your Unwanted Hair

Waxing, tweezing, shaving, chemical depilatories. These are some ways to remove body hair temporarily. Men and women the world over spend countless hours doing these ways just to get rid of those unwanted hair. Then after some time, you have to do it all over again, and again. Do you ever wish that you just had to shave, or tweeze, or wax once and never again?

Well, worry no more. There is a new treatment that is making waves throughout and it is so far the best answer you can ever have for those unwanted hair. The Laser hair removal was approved in 1997 as ‘permanent hair reduction’. It involves light that uses wavelengths to damage the endings of the hair. Speed and efficiency are the main reasons why laser hair removal has become very popular. However, safety and effectiveness still depends on the one who is doing the treatment. Lasers are very powerful and should be handled with knowledge and care. That is why, in Florida, all practitioners and clinics are required to train and operate under a license.

Laser hair removal is mainly used for any area of the body with excess hair such as the back, legs, arms, chest, bikini area, and more. It is effective for most skin and hair combinations.

There were a lot of negative thoughts and views about laser hair removal in the past. Many say that there are side effects or that it does not really last long as they expected. But just as like any other technology, laser hair removal treatment has progressed. You might be surprised with the outcome it will give you.

Usually, two to three days before the treatment, you must shave the area where you wanted the procedure to be done. For two weeks before the treatment, you must avoid plucking or waxing. And avoid tanning because the hair to be treated must be dark. Lasers only work targeting the pigment in the hair follicles and if the skin is tanned, the procedure might be difficult to accomplish. And with the right kind of laser, you can be assured that it can be used safely in any parts of the body, except the mucous membranes inside the ears and nose because of the possibility of infection.

Some patients may experience some discomforts although they are just typical, and often manageable. However, if you feel nauseous or bothered during the procedure, it is best to tell the doctor and ask the possibility of anesthesia. Treatments often times consist of four to six sessions. Results may differ in every person and some may react better than the others. Hyper pigmentation, redness and swelling of the skin, burning of the skin and discoloration of darker skin may be experienced as a side effects after the treatment but this is rare and only temporary. Laser hair removal is completely safe if done properly and by the competent specialist.

In Florida alone, there are wide choices of clinics that perform laser hair removal. You can be confident that these clinics in Florida are safe and strictly monitored for your protection.

Hair Extensions - The Truth About Instant Long Hair

Hair extensions - a few hours in the salon and you have long hair that looks like a dream. But is there a downside? Professionally made hair extensions can completely transform your appearance without affecting the health of your hair, but if they are done wrongly extensions can seriously damage your hair. You should know what to expect before going to the salon.

Would hair extensions cost a fortune?

Yes, extensions done by a professional hair extension artist and made from high quality hair would cost you several hundred dollars. The price really depends on the quality of the hair used - Asian hair is cheaper, while European hair costs 2-3 times more. If you want good looking hair - especially blond hair - you will have to pay for European material.

Online you might find hair extension ‘starter kits’ with complete instructions, which aren’t difficult to apply. So if you feel adventurous, you can buy a do-it-yourself kit and save significantly. If done correctly, this type of hair extension looks as good as any salon made one. If you decide to follow this route, though, make sure that you order high quality hair.

What types of hair extension are available?

The two major types of hair extension are individual strands and wefts.

Individual strands, as the name implies, are attached one piece at a time to your own hair, usually using glue, or with waxes and polymers. The problem here is that most of the attachment methods require coating your natural hair with rather unfriendly chemicals. Attaching these extensions isn’t a problem, but removing this type of extension can seriously damage your hair.

Wefts, on the other hand, are braided into your hair, so no chemicals are needed. A weft looks like a curtain of hair held together at the top and hanging freely toward the bottom. It is braided into your hair around the midline of your head - about ear level. It is safer for your hair but, on the downside, as you own hair grows wefts have to be rebraided - about once every two months.

What materials are used for hair extensions?

First, hair for extensions can be either synthetic or real human hair. Synthetic extensions are cheaper, of course, but you get what you pay for - they look like artificial strands attached to your hair. They’re not very pleasant to the touch, either.

Human hair used for extensions gives better results. Human extension hair differs by origin. The most common are hair from India and Asian countries. They are great, if you are an Asian woman yourself. Unfortunately this type of hair has a noticeably different texture from a Caucasian’s natural hair, so on Caucasian women they just don’t look right.

European hair is of better quality, usually originating from Spain and Italy, is of better quality but costs more. The only problem is that its natural color is usually coal black. To make a blond extensions out of them, Italian or Spanish hair needs to be heavily bleached.

There are also so-called ‘raw’ or ‘virgin’ hair. This is European hair coming from Central and Eastern European countries, like Russia and Poland. The advantage of this hair that it is naturally light and of a very high quality. However, this type of hair is difficult to find and costs an arm and a leg.

A hair iron is an instrument which is used to change formation of the hair using heat. Most hair iron are used for the purpose of straightening and some are used for the purpose of curling the hair.

Marcel Grateau actually invented a tool made of metal used to purposes of hair care using heat. This tool helped straightening the hair causing less damage than prior hair straightening techniques. Years after the invention of Marcel Grateau, people have found ceramic and electrical straighteners and called them hair irons. The hair irons became very popular in the western world in the past few years. We must raise the open question about the damages that hair irons must cause. There is no doubt that flat straight smooth hair is the fashionable hair style. But what can all the poor women with curly hair do? Well, the variety of hair straighteners in the market is growing every day. But, one can define a few group of hair straightening methods. The groups can be distinguished by the technology used and the types of products used by the end customer to make her hair straight:

1. Wet to dry – A new not yet popular product is the wet to dry flat hair iron. It is actually a joining of a hair iron and a hair dryer, and that is it’s biggest advantage – It straightens the hair and dries it simultaneously. It saves a lot of time compared to other hair straightening methods.

2. Thermal reconditioning – This permanent hair straightening method will show it’s outcome only after at least 6 months. However, it’s chemical components usually show fine results. Honestly, we do not advise to use this method as your primary hair straightening method.

3. IHR – It is probably the most advanced hair straightening method, the ion hair retexturising invented in Japan is getting more and more popular in the past couple of years. It’s technology is not so simple. Basically, it is based on the penetration of ions into the follicle of each hair and changing it’s formation. This treatment takes a long time, done only on hair salons but has good and lasting results.

4. Blow outs – Perhaps the most common hair straightening method in the 20th century. The action is simple: just pulling a brash over a hairs and using hot hair to dry it. It takes time and you will never be able to get your hair really flat. You should also be careful with the affects the hot hair can have on your hair holding the dryer too close to your hair.

5. Hair iron – The flat hair iron is the most popular hair straightening method in the past couple of years. It is made up of two metal or ceramic plates and by pulling it through the hair’ any woman can get a great look in no time. However, The heat may damage your hair using it too often. Our research found out that sedu hair iron is the best hair straightening method. It uses the most advanced technology like temperature control and ceramic plates.

Why Are Most Human Hair Wigs Made Of Asian Hair?

At first sight the answer seems very obvious – they are cheaper. And of course that is true. But in fact Eastern European hair is not that much more expensive – the amount necessary to make a good wig is about 30-50 USD in Poland or Czech Republic. That is not a fortune if you are going to spend a few hundred dollars on a wig. So what is the catch?

The problem is on the supply side. There are over 2 billion people in Asia and only 200 million in Eastern Europe. Most of people in Eastern Europe have no need to sell their hair for economic reasons. Moreover, I don’t have to emphasize how rare it is in rich Western European countries to sell one’s hair. That is what makes European hair rare and explains why local wig-makers purchase only the amount necessary for their own production. Outside of Eastern Europe, due to its rarity, the price of the best European hair (so called “raw virgin hair”) is skyrocketing.

Hence 99% of human hair wigs are made of Asian hair. This hair is marked by such trade names as “human hair” or “remy hair”. If the producer or a sales person does not state directly that the hair is exclusively European, you can be 100% sure that you are dealing with Asian hair.

Asian hair is by nature very dark (black), very straight and thicker than European hair. Subject to a complicated process of a pigmentation removal, the hair looses its natural shine and resilience. Before it finally gets to you it will be dyed several times using synthetic chemical products, which no one would use to dye their own hair. Such a hair has a tendency to show a ting of a dark or red color. This is why it has to be dyed several times and go through a bleaching process. That way any color can be obtained, but hair structure gets damaged during the process. It is not pleasant to the touch anymore and even after as little as twenty weeks it will loose its shine and become dull.

Another issue concerns the manner in which the hair is obtained. It is not planned from the start with the thought of creating wigs. Hair is cut in random hair salons. Part of the hair also comes from ritual ceremonies of cutting of the hair as a sign of entering into adulthood. Such hair in the fervor of the ceremony falls to the floor and is gathered from there and placed in a great pile. In the process the hair is turned against and opposite to each of its strands and not layered in the same direction. Although it may not seem so at first, this does change the fundamental significance in the quality of your wig.

Every strand of hair has a coarse cuticle, which clings to the cuticle of the neighboring hair if they are layered in the opposite direction. In effect hair is twisting and intertwining into a hair clump so difficult to comb out. The only method for solving this problem is to completely remove the natural cuticle, which is then replaced with a silicon one that gives the hair its shine. It is a brutal and destructive process – such a wig will maintain its sheen no longer than for a period of 4 to 12 weeks. After that time hair becomes dull and unattractive.

The best Asian hair comes from India and Pakistan. In reality, it is not much better than hair described above. The advantage is that this hair is less stiff and may have a natural tendency to from slight waves. For that reason, many producers claim that it has the same qualities as European hair, which is not true.

If only there were more Eastern Europeans, life of wig-makers and their clients would be simpler, heh?

Laser Hair Removal. Who Else Wants Smooth Skin And Less Hair?

Laser Hair Removal can give you just what you desire. The longing for smooth skin not only fills an emotional need but also creates sensual feelings. It arouses.

The removal of unwanted facial and body hair has recently become one of the most demanded cosmetic enhancements in recent years. This holds true for the ladies, as well as, for a greater and greater number of gentlemen. Excessive facial and body, according to the current dictates of acceptable fashion, is a big fashion turn off and no-no.

And so, for a number of reasons including vanity, millions of women and men, spend millions of dollars each year on enhancements, including laser hair removal, as well as lotions and potions, that promise smooth, satiny skin free of ugly, excessive facial and body hair.

Laser hair removal is a speedier, more gentle way to dispatch unsightly hair, with awesome results. In some cases laser hair removal can be permanent.

Laser hair removal uses accurately controlled energy pulses, (electrical and light with cooling), reaching deep into the roots or base of the hair follicles that lie within the skin. The pulses heat the hair, right down to the bottom of the root, destroying it without damaging surrounding skin or tissue.

Lets take a look at how laser hair removal works:

Human hairs are made up of 3 distinguishable components: the bulb at the root of the hair follicle that develops hair, the shaft, and the hair follicle itself. Both the bulb and the shaft are imbedded within the skin, leaving only the hair visible to the naked eye. For semi permanent hair removal, the hair follicle must be eliminated along with its germinating centers that are in the bulb. Hair can be destroyed only during the active phase of the growth cycle.

Therefore, because of these staggered growth cycles, patients usually require a number of treatments over time for long-term hair removal resolutions. Hair will continue to grow after your treatment. Anybody who tells you that optimum results can be attained in just one or two times under the laser is simply not telling the truth.

Here Is The Good News About Laser Hair Removal:

· Laser hair removal is non-invasive which does not require needles or messy chemical creams.

· It is a smoother, more gentle way to dispatch unwanted hair, with dependable results.

· Since many hundreds if not thousands of hairs can be lasered in a single session, big expanses like the back and shoulders, legs and arms can be treated at one time.

· Considered safe if performed properly.

Would You Like To Know The Boundaries Of Laser Hair Removal?

· Exact rates and frequency on hairs growing back have not been precisely established and cannot be predicted.

· Most usually laser hair removal is not as efficient on gray hairs and red or blonde hair.

· It must be used very judiciously (if at all) on darker skin tones or on patients who suntan regularly. The shin could get discolored patches.
